Bourgogne Chardonnay

Bourgogne Chardonnay

  • Tasting Note

Pale yellow in color with hints of gold, with citrusy but subtly vanilla aromas on the nose, this Chardonnay's generous palate offers notes of marzipan and Acacia honey. The finish is fresh and mouthwatering. The richness of this vintage promises good aging potential for at least the next 10 years.

  • Terroir

Across the Côte de Beaune, limestone-rich soils are perfect for producing our Bourgogne Chardonnay, a well-balanced, fruity and fresh wine showing the potential of the Chardonnay grape. The most approachable appellation of Burgundy summarizes the essence of the region’s native white grape. We see it as an entry door on all the Villages, Premiers Crus and Grands Crus Burgundy’s vineyards have to offer.

  • Winemaking

Direct pressing of whole crop. 48 hours settling then racking from gross lees. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in the same French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation. Aging on fine lees. Fining and light filtration before bottling.
