CÔTE DE BEAUNE
Complex and plentiful, our Chassagne-Montrachet 2018 shows pale yellow in color with golden undertones. The nose and palate are intense, marked by aromas and flavors of peach, pineapple, and brown sugar. The finish is persistent and generous, yet maintains its freshness. There is no doubt this wine will seduce us again and again over the next 10 years.
Rising between 220 and 325 meters above sea level, marly, clay, limestone and pebble-rich soils located in the south end of the Côte de Beaune produce this Chassagne-Montrachet, a fresh and full- bodied Chardonnay bringing the highest expression of the terroir.
Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging in the same French oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation. Aging on fine lees. Fining and light filtration before bottling.
