Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru "Morgeot"
CÔTE DE BEAUNE
Tasting Note
Built to evolve with time, our Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru "Morgeot" 2018 reveals intense aromas of fresh rose, dried flowers, black fruit and clove. On the palate, the oak is well integrated, with the tannins supple and silky. The finish is fresh and long-lasting, with a deliciously peppery note.

Chassagne-Montrachet “Morgeot” benefits from clay and limestone- rich soils and a south-easterly exposure in the Côte de Beaune, resulting in a complex and full-bodied Pinot Noir with long aging potential. First planted in the 15th century, this Premier Cru - one of the 55 in the appellation - shares its renowned terroir between Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
