Clos Marey Monge Chantrerie
Behind its intense and deep ruby color, our Chantrerie 2017 hides a nose full of floral and red fruit aromas, embodying the feminine side of Pommard wines. The palate reveals dense and silky tannins, as well as vibrant energy and fresh acidity, enhanced by a long, salty, and mineral finale. Full-bodied and definitely elegant, this Pinot Noir will age gracefully for decades to come.
Some of the oldest vines in Clos Marey-Monge, Chantrerie’s 2.41 hectares of marly-clay soils produce a dark , rich and deep Pinot Noir with a sweet palette. Known as the spirit of our vineyard, this old Lady benefits from one of the largest internal surfaces of clay in the Côte d’Or, worthy of a Grand Cru, just behind Simone’s record
