Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
CÔTE DE BEAUNE
Vibrant, ample, and generous, our Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2018 collects superlatives. Its nose reveals intense aromas of fresh mango, dried apricot, and pineapple. This aromatic explosion is highlighted by toasted and vanilla notes. The palate is remarkable in its purity. The finish resonates with the pleasant minerality typical of this unique terroir.
Among the limestone-rich marly soils at the intersection of Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, on the steep slopes of the Hill of Corton, lies Corton-Charlemagne the perfect terroir for elegant Chardonnay with a long finish. Proclaimed Grand Cru in 1937, the vineyard of Corton-Charlemagne covers the villages of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand- Vergelesses, and Ladoix-Serrigny.
