Three Barrel Shiraz
An intense purple color with white pepper and ripe plum on the nose, this voluptuous wine ends with rich dark chocolate and smokey flavours that linger on the after taste. Great aging potential.
Grapes are harvested at lowest temperature possible. 16 carefully selected rows of Shiraz used for this specific wine. Skins and juice fermented in open top fermentation tanks for 14 days. Punch down every 6 hours ensured a slow and cool fermentation. Wine is then separated from the skins and placed in 100% new French Oak barrels for 36 months. This prolonged maturation and contact with the French oak makes for a well balanced & elegant wine.
